Nele (Home)
We have a center situated near in J.P. Nagar, Bangalore. Destitute & homeless children reside here
permanently. They study in nearby schools. Besides providing basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, education etc., the focus is on holistic development of the children. The activities here are managed with the help of an NGO-Hindu Seva Prathisthana.
The following are some glimpses into the manner in which the little ones are allowed to blossom. |

To bring in a sense of equality,
trustees and their families bring food (home cooked, generally) and join for the meal with the inmates during meetings and celebrations, so that the little ones develop confidence when they mingle with children of the trustees.

Picnics, overnight outings, educational film shows. exposure to art, theatre etc., to provide insight into all spheres of life.

Yoga training & Sanskrit classes
- Camps - not only for the children in Premaanjali but also for the children in the neighbourhood.

Saniha (Distant sponsorship program)
Here, we identify deserving children who are almost in the drop out stage in
schools for want of finance. We then undertake to provide such children with schooling,
and other related expenses
so that they can continue their education. In addition, during the periodical meetings, the mothers of the children are given orientation in
personality development, hygiene, benefits of woman taking up gainful employment &
such other subjects.

Araike (Day care center)
Here, we support the children of stone quarry workers in the outskirts of Bangalore. While the parents are at work in the quarry sites, their children are
taken care of by providing food and basic education in the day care
centers. These centers are run with the help of an NGO called Outreach.

Mid day meal
Midday meals for needy school going children in rural background is yet another effort of Premaanjali. Premaanjali provides midday
meals for a large number of children in Kalkunte Village in the outskirts of Bangalore.
Well planned kitchen keeping in mind speed, convenience & hygiene etc.
built by Premaanjali in the school is serving as a model & inspiration to other nearby village schools.

Anthardrishti (Center for the blind)
Here, we provide the visually impaired with all the facilities required for pursuing their higher Education. Several computers equipped with 'Jaws' screen-reading
software have been installed at the Centre. Other facilities include Scanning, Reading/teaching through volunteers, Computer training, Counselling, Spoken-English courses etc. Shortly, the center will be equipped with a digital library.
Training the visually impaired for job placements is also an activity that will be launched in due course.
